Here are my final thoughts on the anime series that both started and finished in the Spring season, the 12 – 13 ep series. People may remember from my mid-season thoughts that I was watching Lupin III, Steins;Gate and Boku no Hero Academia – since they’re still ongoing, I went back and picked up three more series to make up the numbers. Here’s how my lineup looked by the end of the season:
And so ends the very strange Summer season – kind of. What with some of these series having started late, others having skipped weeks, and yet more of them simply having 13th episodes (or another full season) still to go, only eight actually finished this week. No skipped episodes, no double airings, nothing new picked up or dropped. Literally the first ‘normal’ week since the start of the season. 😮 Which leaves me with very little to say here. Let’s move on…Read the rest of this entry »
Slightly late this week… and the next post will be later still, as I’m away and likely without internet for five days, Friday until Tuesday (which are the days when virtually everything airs). Hopefully I’ll catch up quickly afterwards!
So, a week later than planned, but time to re-jig my lineup. I’ve already dropped Symphogear, and on top of that, I can’t bring myself to watch any more of the mysteriously dull Katsugeki Touken Ranbu. Everything else survives, and nothing new replaces them, as none of the Summer offerings that I initially skipped were any better on second viewing.Read the rest of this entry »
